    Description

    Mentor for Refugee & Immigrant Women

    Location: Flexible (Salt Lake area)

    Time Commitment: 1 hour/week for at least 6 months (flexible)

    Women of the World is seeking compassionate, committed volunteer mentors to support refugee and immigrant women as they pursue personal and professional goals. Whether it's practicing English, preparing for the citizenship test, navigating education or employment, or building confidence in a new culture, your support can make a world of difference.

    As a Mentor, You’ll:

    • Be matched with one client based on shared interests, goals, and availability-this is a customizable and flexible opportunity!
    • Meet weekly or biweekly (virtually or in-person) to work on a mutually agreed-upon focus
    • Offer encouragement, accountability, and practical support
    • Receive training, check-ins, and resources from Women of the World staff
