    2nd Annual FRESHH Gala – Event Day Support

    About the Event

    The FRESHH Gala is a signature fundraising and celebration event hosted by DSFIT2RUN Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering healthier lifestyles through Finance, Relationships, Exercise, Spirituality, Happiness, and Health.

    We are seeking enthusiastic, dependable volunteers to help us deliver a polished, elegant, and impactful evening that supports our mission and community.

    🌟 Volunteer Roles Available

    Door Greeters (Welcome Team)

    Volunteers Needed: 4

    Shift Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet guests with warmth and professionalism
    • Direct guests to registration, cocktail area, and ballroom
    • Assist with guest flow and basic event questions
    • Create a welcoming first impression

    Registration Table Volunteers

    Volunteers Needed: 3

    Shift Time: 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM

    Responsibilities:

    • Check guests in using a registration list or digital system
    • Distribute programs, wristbands, or event materials
    • Answer check-in questions and escalate issues as needed
    • Ensure a smooth and organized arrival experience

    Silent Auction Table Volunteers

    Volunteers Needed: 3

    Shift Time: 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist guests with silent auction bidding
    • Monitor bid sheets and auction items
    • Answer basic questions about auction packages
    • Support auction close-out and winner notifications

    Setup & Decoration Volunteers

    Volunteers Needed: 6

    Shift Time: 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with table setup, décor placement, and signage
    • Follow the approved floor plan and décor vision
    • Support event coordinator and lead volunteer
    • Prepare the venue prior to guest arrival

    Takedown & Breakdown Volunteers

    Volunteers Needed: 6

    Shift Time: 9:30 PM – 11:00 PM

    Responsibilities:

    • Remove décor and signage
    • Pack and organize event materials
    • Break down auction and registration tables
    • Leave the venue clean and organized

    Lead Volunteer (Volunteer Captain)

    Volunteers Needed: 1

    Shift Time: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

    Responsibilities:

    • Serve as main point of contact for volunteers
    • Liaison between volunteers and event coordinator
    • Assign roles, manage transitions, and troubleshoot issues
    • Ensure smooth execution from setup through breakdown
