Put Your Teaching Experience to Work—Again

Norfolk County RSVP invites former and retired teachers age 55+ to share their experience and passion for education by supporting elementary school students through our Elementary School Partner Program.

This is a meaningful way to stay connected to the classroom community while making a lasting impact on students who need extra support.

    What You’ll Do

As a Retired Teacher Classroom Volunteer, you will:

    • Support a host teacher during the school day
    • Work with individual students or small groups
    • Reinforce reading, math, and classroom learning activities
    • Provide encouragement, structure, and positive engagement
    • (In some schools, opportunities may also include art, music, science, or library support)
