Volunteer With Our Tool Library

Do you have experience in the trades? Have you ever been interested in learning more about them? Come volunteer with us at the Makers Hub in Compton! You may be assisting with one of our many workshops like electrical, plumbing, and ceramics or you might help us oragnize our library and hang our art.

The Makers Hub is Compton’s 1st comprehensive Tool Lending Library is an innovative initiative dedicated to providing LA residents with access to a wide range of tools and equipment.

Our focus is on empowering the community by offering resources that enable home improvement, repairs, and creative projects without the financial burden of purchasing new tools.

The maker’s mindset is all about embracing creativity, curiosity, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. It’s the belief that anyone can be a creator, whether it’s through crafting, building, or innovating. We hope to welcome all volunteers to come grow alongside us and allow us to support you in your makers journey--and we'll buy you lunch ;)
