The black tie society of washington dc is seeking 20 volunteers at running hair vineyard, saturday, october fourth, from 1 to 7 p m. To perform duties such as Guest Services
- Greeters / Guest Check-In: Welcome guests, manage ticket scanning/RSVP list, provide wristbands or admission credentials.
- Ushers / Seating Coordinators: Guide attendees to seating areas, VIP sections, and cultural vendor spaces.
- Info Table Staff: Answer questions, hand out programs, and direct guests to vendors, food, restrooms, or the stage.
🍷 Food & Vendor Support
- Vendor Relations Assistants: Help vendors with setup, breakdown, and logistics.
- Hospitality Runners: Deliver water, supplies, and troubleshoot vendor/performer needs.
- Cultural Vendor Liaisons: Act as points of contact for artisan, apparel, food, and community table vendors.
🎤 Stage & Entertainment
- Performer Liaisons: Coordinate with musicians, singers, and entertainers; assist with equipment and set changes.
- Stage Hands: Manage microphones, seating, props, and transitions during entertainment or speeches.
- Timekeepers: Ensure performers and speakers stay on schedule.
📸 Media & Promotion
- Photographers / Videographers: Capture high-quality event coverage for BTS branding.
- Social Media Team: Post live updates, engage with hashtags, and capture crowd energy for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Livestream Crew: Manage streaming equipment and quality for remote viewers.
🛡 Safety & Operations
- Parking & Traffic Volunteers: Direct cars, monitor vineyard entry/exit flow.
- Security Support / Crowd Monitors: Ensure a safe, drama-free atmosphere; assist with conflict prevention alongside hired security.
- Clean-Up Crew: Maintain cleanliness of grounds during and after the event.
🏛 Black Tie Society Program & Mission Support
- Donation Table / Raffle Staff: Promote BTS programs (Legacy, Culinary Futures, Future Tech) and collect contributions.
- Membership Recruiters: Share BTS mission, sign up new members, and capture contact info for future events.
- Foundation Ambassadors: Float among guests, engaging in conversation about BTS’s nonprofit mission.
