    Description

    Black Fire Ministries Fundraising Fellowship

Learn Real Fundraising. Build Kingdom Impact. Gain Practical Experience.

Black Fire Ministries is launching the Fundraising Fellowship, a hands-on training and execution fellowship for believers who want to learn how fundraising actually works—not theory, not pressure, not manipulation, but structured, ethical, Kingdom-aligned fundraising.

This opportunity is designed for individuals who want to gain real, transferable fundraising skills while supporting a global mission focused on igniting, equipping, and releasing the next generation of Christian leaders.

We welcome support volunteers on a rolling basis and currently seek 5–10 individuals to serve in remote support roles. Additional opportunities open throughout the year as needs and capacity grow. We prioritize alignment, availability, and shared values over resumes, and seek volunteers excited to support global missions work behind the scenes.

What You Will Learn & Practice

This is not an observation role—you will be trained and actively involved.

You will gain hands-on experience in:

    • Fundraising research and prospect identification
    • Donor segmentation (individuals, churches, businesses, grants)
    • Ethical fundraising and Kingdom-based giving models
    • Outreach writing (emails, messages, invitations)
    • Relationship-based fundraising without pressure or manipulation
    • Fundraising funnels and follow-up systems
    • Event-based fundraising and partnership models
    • Stewardship, reporting, and donor care
    • Supporting sponsorships, grants, and partnerships
    • How modern nonprofits raise and sustain funding

You will be trained, equipped with templates and materials, and guided step-by-step.

    Fellowship Structure

    • Time commitment: Approximately 1 hour per day, Monday–Friday
    • Format: Remote / online
    • Support: Connected to a fundraising mentor
    • Environment: Structured, purposeful, and faith-centered

    What You Gain

    • Practical fundraising experience you can use anywhere
    • Direct mentorship and real-world exposure
    • Portfolio-worthy work and references
    • Opportunity to transition into a paid or long-term role as alignment and capacity allow
    • Exposure to churches, leaders, businesses, and global partners
    • A deeper understanding of Kingdom stewardship and leadership
    • Monthly internet stipend to support participation

This fellowship is designed to build capacity, not just fill tasks.

    Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need to be a fundraising expert—you need to be teachable, committed, and aligned.

    Foundational skills:

    • Clear written communication (creative writing a plus)
    • Comfort with email and online tools
    • Time management and consistency
    • Ability to follow structure and instructions

    Most importantly:

    • A genuine love for God
    • A commitment to integrity, excellence, and service
    • A willingness to learn and grow
