    Description

    Volunteer Workforce Engagement Team- Oahu

    In this role you'll help to support our volunteer workforce as they onboard, train, prepare to deploy across the nation, and advance in their roles. This is a hybrid virtual/in-person role. At the beginning you'll be working more in the office as you do 1x1 trainings. Going forward, most of the work can be done virtually, but you may need to come in more frequently if we are under a disaster response.

    Responsibilities:

    Support the annual workforce engagement goals, Regional Disaster Officer objectives, and regional/chapter plan for volunteer engagement through participation in meetings and projects.

    Projects and participation will be assigned according to the area of interest: onboarding/placement, deployment, training, recognition and appreciation, leadership development, Volunteer Connection/profile management and/or engagement.

    Projects may include but are not limited to conducting volunteer interviews, updating profiles in

    Volunteer Connection, recognition, analyzing reports/data, scheduling volunteers, etc..

    Qualifications: Willingness to comply with Red Cross COVID-19 policies for in-person volunteer activities.

    Ability to:

    follow and implement requests received from supervisor with little or no supervision.

    adapt to change, negotiate compromise and tolerate ambiguity.

    build effective relationships with others who can help with work related goals.

    be sensitive in human interactions to diversity inclusiveness.
