    Volunteer Grant Writer – Maternal & Infant Health Nonprofit (REMOTE)

    NOTE: This is an unpaid volunteer position with a nonprofit organization.

    Organization: Tiny Hearts Remembered, Inc. (Ohio-Based Nonprofit)

    Tiny Hearts Remembered, Inc. supports families through pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding education, and pregnancy & infant loss support. We work to improve maternal and infant health outcomes by providing healing-centered support, prevention education, community resources, and bereavement care.

    Role Overview:

    We are seeking a Volunteer Grant Writer to help us secure funding to sustain and expand our maternal health, postpartum healing, and bereavement programs. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in grant writing, nonprofit development, public health, social work, maternal/infant health OR strong professional writing skills who is willing to learn.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Research grant opportunities aligned with maternal health, infant mortality, pregnancy and infant loss support, mental health, postpartum care
    • Draft and edit grant proposals and Letters of Intent (LOIs)
    • Assist with grant calendars, narratives, and documentation
    • Collaborate with Founder/Executive Director and Treasurer as needed (virtual)

    Impact of Your Work:

    Your contribution will directly support grieving and postpartum families in receiving care packages, education, resources, emotional support and healing — especially for Black and minority families impacted by disparities.

    This is also a great resume + portfolio building opportunity for someone seeking experience in maternal health, nonprofit development, or social impact funding work.

    Time Commitment: Flexible, approximately 3–5 hours per week

    Location: Remote / Virtual

    Start Date: ASAP

    Compensation: Unpaid volunteer role
