    Description

Companion for Hospice patients in the Plano area

Many people at the end of their lives are unable to go out and see their friends and do the hobbies they loved so much. If you become a Hospice Volunteer, you can go to them! No matter where they live or how much they are still able to do, people on hospice benefit from the friendly presence of volunteers.

Volunteer with Medical City Hospice and Family Care and provide companionship and caring presence to hospice patients living at a DFW community or at home in McKinney. You will receive free orientation and training and will be able to meet patients to read, share stories, listen to music, or provide respite for family members. Your companionship and caring presence ensures that patients spend the end of their life in dignity and comfort. Medical City Hospice and Family Care has many other locations in the DFW area and surrounding cities.

Training and orientation will be scheduled to fit to your schedule.
