    Reports To: Human Resources Specialist Supervisor

    Job Summary: A Human Resources (HR) Assistant Intern provides administrative support to the HR department by tasks like maintaining employee records, scheduling interviews, assisting with recruitment, and onboarding new hires. Key responsibilities include updating HR databases, assisting with payroll data, posting job advertisements, and organizing company events. The role offers practical, hands-on experience in various HR functions for individuals pursuing a career in the field.

    Key Responsibilities

    Administrative Support:

    • Performing daily administrative duties to ensure the HR department runs efficiently.

    Recruitment Support:

    • Assisting with talent acquisition, including screening resumes, scheduling interviews, posting job ads, and preparing rejection letters.

    Employee Records:

    • Maintaining and updating employee files, databases, and other HR documentation to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

    Onboarding & Training:

    • Helping to coordinate new hire orientations and assisting with organizing training and development initiatives.

    Employee Engagement:

    • Supporting company events, employee wellness programs, and employee engagement activities.

    HR Projects:

    • Participating in HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and address HR-related matters.

    Essential Skills

    Organizational & Administrative Skills:

    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

    Communication Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication to handle employee inquiries and interact with various departments.

    Technical Proficiency:

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is generally required, with experience in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) being a plus.

    Teamwork & Problem-Solving:

    • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to resolving HR issues.
