Blooming Hearts Foundation is expanding our technology initiatives, and we are seeking a passionate Volunteer Technical Lead to help strengthen, grow, and innovate our Tech Women Community.

This role is ideal for a woman in tech who is committed to social impact, gender equity, and building digital opportunities for women and girls across Africa.

Role Overview

The Volunteer Technical Lead will work closely with the Senior Programs Manager to:

Develop and implement tech-focused programs and learning pathways for women and girls

Discover new partnerships, resources, and opportunities within the global tech ecosystem

Identify gaps and propose innovative ways to strengthen our Tech Women Community

Support digital empowerment initiatives, workshops, mentorship programs, and campaigns

Help shape the long-term vision and strategy for technology within Blooming Hearts Foundation

Who We’re Looking For

A woman with experience in technology, digital skills, or STEM-related fields

Passionate about empowering women and girls

Innovative, proactive, and able to translate ideas into actionable projects

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Experience in community building or program creation is a plus
