Interested in bringing history to life for children? Apply to become a volunteer docent for school tours at Gunston Hall!
Volunteer docents at Gunston Hall give tours of the historic site to thousands of school students every year, and teach them about George Mason and his ideas in the Virginia Declaration of Rights, about the many people who lived here in the past, including enslaved people, the Mason family, and indentured servants, and about Virginia in the 18th century.
