The Grandparents Community Network (TGCN) is expanding our Fundraising & Development Team, and we are inviting motivated, mission-driven individuals to join us as Fundraising Assistants.
This is an opportunity to grow with a national nonprofit, learn real-world fundraising skills, and contribute to a movement that is changing the lives of grandparents raising grandchildren.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
As a Fundraising Assistant, you will gain hands-on experience in:
- Grant Writing & Proposal Development
- Researching Funders & Funding Opportunities
- Donor Relations and Fundraising Strategy
- Corporate and Community Partnership Outreach
- Program Alignment and Impact Reporting
- Professional Communication & Nonprofit Development Skills
(We train you — no previous experience required.)
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assist the Grant Writing Team with research, data gathering, and drafting sections of proposals
- Help identify potential funders aligned with TGCN’s mission
- Support the development of fundraising campaigns and donor engagement efforts
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and strategy discussions
- Learn TGCN’s programs so you can help connect funders to our impact
