    Padoc Area Scholars Society, USA PASS) is a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing the lack of post-secondary education access for South Sudanese youth, especially young women.

    South Sudan, the world's poorest country by per capita income. PASS USA provides full-ride college scholarships to qualified South Sudanese youth, especially young women, including South Sudanese refugees in Uganda, Kenya and Ethiopia, to pursue degrees in high-impact fields such as health sciences, education, and engineering.

    Our belief is that education is the safest pathway to escaping extreme poverty and rewriting the future for South Sudanese youth. We currently have over 400 scholars who are recipients of the PASS Scholarship Program.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time remote role for a Fundraising & Partnerships Coordinator. Responsibilities include developing and managing relationships with donors, partners, and other stakeholders to secure funding and foster strategic partnerships across the US, UK and globally including our 4 regions of operation: South Sudan, Kenya, Uganda and Ethiopia.

    The Coordinator will implement fundraising campaigns, oversee donor outreach efforts, and contribute to creating long-term revenue-generating strategies. Additionally, they will manage partnership projects and execute initiatives that align with the organization's mission to support education access and community development under the supervision of the Grants, Fundraising and Partnerships Lead and the Executive Director.

    We are seeking someone with a proven ability to build relationships, network for funders and introduce them to our work, whether through events, campaigns, emails, proposals, or any other forms of outreach in other to secure funding or establish a partnership.

    Qualifications

    • Strong skills in Partnerships and Strategic Partnerships development to build impactful and sustainable collaborations
    • Proficient in Communication and Sales to effectively engage donors, partners, and stakeholders
    • Proven experience in Project Management to oversee and successfully execute key partnership and fundraising initiatives
    • Passion for education equity, nonprofit work, and social impact
    • Organizational skills with the ability to work independently in a remote capacity
    • Relevant experience in fundraising, nonprofit development & proven capacity to secure partnerships is a must.

    This role has a hiring budget ranging from $600 to $1500 per month.
