About Us:

For My Daisies Elderly Care Home is a small, heart-led sanctuary in the rural Drakensberg mountains of South Africa. We currently care for three elderly women who had nowhere else safe to go. Our vision is to expand into a gentle, purpose-filled home where abandoned elders can live with dignity, companionship, routine, and connection to nature.

We operate with compassion, sustainable living, and hands-on care — and we dream of growing into a self-sufficient sanctuary with gardens, chickens, and therapeutic outdoor spaces where our elders can thrive.

Volunteer Role: International Outreach & Awareness Support

We are seeking warm, committed volunteers from anywhere in the world to help us expand our visibility and reach. This is a gentle, flexible role suited to someone who believes in compassionate elder care and wants to support a meaningful grassroots project.

What You’ll Help With (choose any tasks you enjoy):

Sharing our mission through international networks, forums, and community groups

Researching global foundations, diaspora groups, philanthropic trusts, and charities

Helping with email outreach (templates provided)

Suggesting places online where our story can be shared

Finding international directories or platforms where our organisation can list itself

Supporting general awareness and visibility

Offering ideas for community engagement, partnerships, or project growth

No experience is necessary. Heart, sincerity, and a little time go a long way.

Time Commitment:

Completely flexible

A few hours per month or as your schedule allows

Remote and asynchronous
