    Description

For the Love of Plants! Tree Maintenance and Native Planting at MudTown Farms

    Description

Join us for free breakfast, caring for trees, learning about native plants, and planting native plants!

    Purpose

Our BlueSky LA team will educate on the native plants. Then UC Master Gardeners will lead and educate participants on how to properly prune and care for trees. Maintaining healthy trees and green spaces helps improve air quality and supports overall environmental health. After the workshop, there will be a volunteer opportunity to prune trees on the farm as well as plant native plants.

    Volunteer Role

Volunteers will learn tree maintenance techniques and gain knowledge about the native plants being planted while supporting hands-on planting efforts.
