    Description

Silverado Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers to join our team in providing comfort and companionship to those in the final stages of life. Our patients are terminally ill and reside either in their own homes or in various nursing facilities across the area.

As a Hospice Volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference through simple, heartfelt gestures—reading the newspaper or a book, sharing a hobby, playing or listening to soothing music, bringing flowers from your garden, sharing photos, engaging in conversation, or simply offering the quiet gift of your presence.

We are partnered with facilities throughout the region, and I will do my best to match you with a patient or location close to where you live or work.

If you feel called to provide comfort and connection to those at the end of life, please reply to this opportunity. We’d love to have you as part of our caring team.
