    Treasurer

EmpowerHer Haven is seeking a dedicated Board Treasurer to provide financial oversight and ensure strong fiscal stewardship as we empower young women (ages 13–21) through mentorship, mental health advocacy, life skills development, and supportive programming in Chicago. The Treasurer will oversee budgets, review financial statements, help establish sound internal controls, ensure compliance with nonprofit financial regulations, and present financial reports during quarterly board meetings while supporting fundraising readiness and grant accountability. Ideal candidates have a background in accounting, finance, banking, business, or nonprofit financial management; strong attention to detail; integrity; and a commitment to transparency and mission-driven service. This is a volunteer leadership role with a 1–2 year commitment and hybrid meeting options. Interested candidates should submit a resume and brief statement of interest to Director@EmpowerHerHaven.com.
