    Description

    Senior Developer (Volunteer Lead Engineer)

    Location: Remote (US preferred)

    Commitment: Flexible, ~5–10 hours/week

    About Us:

    VConn Inc. is a non-profit dedicated to helping veterans and their families find the assistance they need, when they need it. We’re building web and mobile applications to connect veterans with organizations that provide essential resources and support.

    Role:

    We’re seeking a Senior Developer to help lead the technical direction of our platform. You’ll mentor interns, guide architecture decisions, and help ensure our product is scalable, secure, and reliable.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead technical design and architecture decisions for web/mobile applications.
    • Review code, mentor interns, and set best practices
    • Collaborate with the project manager to define technical milestones
    • Contribute to coding in areas of your expertise (React Native, FastAPI, etc.)
