    About Youth Economists Forum (YEF)

    Youth Economists Forum (YEF) is a youth-led organization that empowers high school students to engage with economics, public policy, and social impact. Clear and effective communication is central to YEF’s mission, helping us share student work, announce opportunities, and build strong partnerships.

    Role Overview

    YEF is seeking confident and detail-oriented High School Communications & PR Managers to help manage external and internal communications. This role is ideal for students who enjoy writing, outreach, and representing an organization professionally and responsibly.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Draft announcements, emails, newsletters, and official messages
    • Support external communication with partners, schools, and student organizations
    • Help write press-style content such as updates, highlights, and impact posts
    • Coordinate with the social media and research teams to ensure consistent messaging
    • Maintain a professional and positive public image of YEF
    • Assist with outreach for events, programs, and membership growth

    Who Should Apply

    • Currently enrolled high school students (Grades 9–12 or equivalent)
    • Strong interest in communications, public relations, or media
    • Good written communication skills in English
    • Organized, responsible, and comfortable with teamwork
    • No prior PR or media experience required
