    Time Commitment: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (flexible within event window)

    About ANAM Georgia

    ANAM Georgia is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to free music education for underserved children across Metro Atlanta. Our programs integrate music, literacy, and leadership development to empower young people with creativity, confidence, and lifelong learning skills.

    Volunteer Opportunity

    ANAM Georgia is seeking a Volunteer Photographer/Videographer to capture the excitement, joy, and community impact of our upcoming Music Discovery Day. This special event brings together local families, music teachers, volunteers, and children for a day of free hands-on music lessons including piano, ukulele, African drums, trumpet, violin, singing, rhythm games, and a mini student–teacher concert.

    Your photos and videos will help us:

    • Tell powerful stories of the children and families we serve
    • Showcase the impact of our programs to partners, and schools
    • Strengthen our marketing and outreach materials
    • Document milestones for community engagement

    Responsibilities

    • Capture photos and/or video clips of:
      • Children participating in music classes
      • Teachers and volunteers engaging with families
      • Community interactions and group activities
      • Our 30-minute mini concert (12:00 PM – 12:30 PM)
    • Provide digital files to ANAM Georgia after the event
    • Work respectfully and joyfully with families, children, and staff

    Qualifications

    • Experience with taking photos and recording videos (professional or advanced hobbyist)
    • Own camera or equipment (iPhone acceptable)
    • Comfortable working in a lively environment with children and families
    • Strong attention to detail and creativity
    • Reliable, punctual, and collaborative
