Description
Corrine’s Place of Love is a Nashville-based nonprofit organization providing a safe, supportive respite for unsheltered women and children experiencing homelessness and life crises. Our programs include a 60-day housing program, food and clothing pantry, digital resource center, wellness center, and community outreach initiatives.
We are seeking committed, compassionate, and community-minded volunteers to serve on our Board of Directors. This is a volunteer leadership opportunity for individuals passionate about housing stability, advocacy, and empowering women and families.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and nonprofit governance
- Support fundraising, donor engagement, and community partnerships
- Serve as an ambassador for Corrine’s Place of Love
- Assist with program development and organizational growth
- Attend board meetings and serve on at least one committee
- Support special projects and community events
Qualifications
- Passion for community service and social impact
- Leadership, professional, or community experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to serving women and children in crisis
- Willingness to give time, talent, and advocacy
Time Commitment
Approximately 4–6 hours per month including monthly board meetings and committee participation.
