    Description

    Volunteer Board Member Opportunity – Community Leaders Needed

    Corrine’s Place of Love is a Nashville-based nonprofit organization providing a safe, supportive respite for unsheltered women and children experiencing homelessness and life crises. Our programs include a 60-day housing program, food and clothing pantry, digital resource center, wellness center, and community outreach initiatives.

    We are seeking committed, compassionate, and community-minded volunteers to serve on our Board of Directors. This is a volunteer leadership opportunity for individuals passionate about housing stability, advocacy, and empowering women and families.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic leadership and nonprofit governance
    • Support fundraising, donor engagement, and community partnerships
    • Serve as an ambassador for Corrine’s Place of Love
    • Assist with program development and organizational growth
    • Attend board meetings and serve on at least one committee
    • Support special projects and community events

    Qualifications

    • Passion for community service and social impact
    • Leadership, professional, or community experience
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Commitment to serving women and children in crisis
    • Willingness to give time, talent, and advocacy

    Time Commitment

    Approximately 4–6 hours per month including monthly board meetings and committee participation.
