    Medical Relations Coordinator

    Position: Medical Relations Coordinator - Children and Teenagers Medical Support

    Role Overview: Join our team and seize the extraordinary opportunity to create a lasting impact in the lives of children and teenagers confronting critical medical challenges. As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will spearhead efforts to raise awareness about the necessity of cranial prosthetics, medical wigs, and psychological counseling for young individuals suffering from medical hair-loss. This role hinges on your adeptness at drafting persuasive scripts, initiating phone calls, and sending emails to engage physicians, specialists, and other stakeholders in our cause.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Telephone and Email Outreach: In this pivotal role, you will serve as our frontline communicator by placing phone calls and sending emails to physicians and medical professionals. Your empathetic and persuasive communication will be instrumental in conveying the significance of our mission and garnering support for children and teenagers undergoing critical medical challenges.
    • Raising Awareness: Your primary focus will be on creating compelling scripts that intricately outline the paramount importance of cranial prosthetics, medical wigs, and psychological counseling for young individuals. These scripts will serve as a cornerstone for engaging physicians, specialists, and others in a meaningful conversation centered around supporting our cause.
    • Contact Management: You will undertake a critical role in tracking and managing all interactions with potential supporters. Your meticulous record-keeping will ensure that contacts are followed up with appropriately and that our outreach efforts remain systematic and effective. Whether via telephone or email, your engagement will contribute significantly to our outreach goals.
    • Weekly Outreach Goals: A core responsibility will involve achieving weekly outreach targets set by the organization. Your well-honed communication skills, both over the phone and through emails, will be key to building connections, fostering support, and ensuring the timely realization of our goals.
    • Volunteer Team Management: As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will collaborate in overseeing our dedicated team of volunteers. This will encompass guiding their activities, providing mentorship, and aligning their efforts with the mission of the organization.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Empathetic and persuasive communicator.
    • Strong organizational abilities, especially in managing contacts and interactions.
    • Proven experience in making impactful phone calls and sending effective emails.
    • Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and teenagers facing critical medical challenges.
    • Team player with leadership skills to coordinate and motivate volunteers.
    • Previous experience in volunteer management is a plus.
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, internet, and email for communication and record-keeping.
    • Experience in medical sales or pharmaceutical sales is a strong advantage.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage medical professionals and volunteers.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate contact records and managing volunteer efforts.
    • Desired Experience:
    • Prior experience in medical sales or pharmaceutical sales is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with non-profit organizations and volunteer management is a plus.
    • Previous involvement in developing communication materials or scripts is beneficial
