The Comfort House of Augusta is a 501c(3) non-profit that provides low-cost lodging to out-of-town patients and their caregivers being seen in the Augusta area.
While our guests are expected to clean-up after themselves, the facility relies on volunteers to help reset the rooms after check-out, touch-up common areas and keep spaces organized. In order to continue the Comfort Houses mission we need dedicated volunteers who are willing to donate a few hours of their time each week to help ensure that guests arrive to a clean and welcoming facility. There is no requirement to interact with guests unless the volunteer desires.
Volunteers can set their own schedule, and can work independently or as a team.
