Capital City Village welcomes people of all races, ethnic groups, religions, sexual orientations, political views, and physical and mental abilities. They celebrate multiple approaches and points of view in life, with the belief that diversity drives community togetherness. Their goal is to more inclusively reflect the community we serve and build a culture where experiences different from our own are valued and respected.
Capital City Village seeks volunteer assistance from individuals who are tech-savvy and eager to make a difference. From troubleshooting issues to teaching basic skills, your support can open doors to connection, education, and opportunity. Whether it’s setting up a smartphone, guiding someone through online tools, or fixing a laptop, every bit of help makes a huge impact. No advanced tech skills are needed—just patience and a willingness to lend a hand. Be part of something meaningful and help bridge the digital divide.
Capital City Village is also seeking volunteer assistance with driving members to appointments and programs, helping with light household and yard maintenance and tasks, helping members organize their goals, schedules and plans for the future (Village Connections Program) and more!
