    Job Description Opportunity

    Young Mothers, Inc. is looking for motivated individuals who are either experienced in social media or willing to learn. Successful management of Young Mothers, Inc.'s social media accounts requires several components to be implemented effectively. We are seeking responsible, organized, and savvy individuals who can support our mission through engaging and meaningful content creation.

    Responsibilities

    • Create at least 3 posts per week from Monday to Friday (posts can be created in advance for the upcoming week if preferred).
    • Coordinate posts on topics such as education, inspiration/motivation, quotes, womanhood, and motherhood.
    • Promote Young Mothers, Inc.'s programs, services, and partnerships that are featured on our website at youngmothersinc.com.
    • Measure and track the metrics of posts to assess engagement and success.
    • Curate engaging content for Young Mothers, Inc.'s social media accounts across various platforms.
    • Attend all events, take current pictures, live stream, and provide relevant hashtags to our guests.
    • Post live content regularly throughout events to increase real-time engagement.

    Qualities of a Social Media Assistant

    • Strong writing and grammar skills with an ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Capable of writing inspirational and personable content in 140 characters or less.
    • A well-rounded understanding of various social media platforms and their dynamics.
    • Open to receiving regular feedback to develop and enhance content quality.
    • Interested candidates may also have the opportunity to assist in PR and marketing efforts as needed.

    Requirements

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams to collaborate effectively in a virtual environment.
    • Commitment: Must be able to commit at least 10-15 hours per week.
    • This is not a temporary position, and candidates must be willing to work with the organization for more than six months.
