    Description

Institutional Brand & Marketing Collateral Lead (Volunteer)

    About A&N Career Services Project

A&N Career Services Project is a structured, cohort-based workforce readiness initiative supporting individuals as they navigate career transitions, strengthen professional readiness, and connect with opportunity.

As we move into pilot implementation and external visibility, we are formalizing how the Project presents itself across audiences - including employers, workforce boards, community stakeholders, conferences, volunteers, and funders.

Our brand identity is established. We now require disciplined execution and cohesive institutional materials.

    Role Overview

The Institutional Brand & Marketing Collateral Lead (Volunteer) will develop and design polished, brand-aligned materials that represent A&N Career Services Project across audiences and settings.

This role is responsible for building the Project’s foundational collateral library — including one-pagers, executive summaries, conference materials, stationery systems, and reusable templates.

    This is not exploratory branding.

This is structured development within an established brand system.

The selected volunteer will work closely with leadership to translate strategy, program design, and impact goals into cohesive, professional visual assets that reflect credibility, clarity, and institutional readiness.

    How You Will Contribute

    Foundational Collateral Development

    • Develop audience-specific one-pagers (employer, community, general overview)
    • Create executive summaries and program overview briefs
    • Design conference leave-behind materials
    • Develop digital and print-ready institutional collateral

    Stationery & Template System

    • Update/Build official letterhead and document templates
    • Create presentation slide templates aligned with brand standards
    • Develop Canva-based template systems for internal use
    • Ensure materials are reusable, scalable, and consistent

    Cross-Audience Brand Execution

    • Adapt messaging visually for different audiences while maintaining brand consistency
    • Translate strategic language into visually compelling, accessible layouts
    • Support alignment between website positioning and external-facing materials

    Brand Governance Support

    • Ensure strict adherence to established brand guide (color palette, typography, layout structure)
    • Maintain professional, minimal, executive-level aesthetic
    • Formalize an internal collateral library for future use

You Will Be a Strong Fit If You

    • Have experience creating polished marketing or institutional materials
    • Understand how to translate strategy into visual communication
    • Are proficient in Canva (required) and/or Adobe tools
    • Have strong layout discipline and typography awareness
    • Can create from concept to finished asset within brand guidelines
    • Are detail-oriented and comfortable iterating toward precision
    • Appreciate minimal, sophisticated, executive presentation standards

    What You Will Gain

    • Portfolio-ready institutional materials (where permissible)
    • Experience building foundational collateral for a workforce initiative in growth phase
    • Exposure to executive-level positioning and messaging strategy
    • Professional reference upon successful completion
    • Insight into how early-stage organizations formalize external presence.
