    Description

    English Language Tutor

    Interested in working with adult English language learners to improve vocabulary and grammar, practice conversation skills, and learn about American culture? Apply to be a volunteer tutor!

    Teaching experience is not necessary. TPL staff will provide resources to interested volunteers to help develop lesson plans and learn how to best work with students. The only requirements are kindness, compassion, and a desire to help.

    Tutors must be 18+ years old to participate, and they must be able to commit one hour per week to the program. All tutors will complete a background check.
