Here are a few of the ways volunteers can support ACBC's mission:
Food Market Volunteers provide a welcoming shopping experience for participants. Volunteers keep the market running smooth by greeting folks, checking people out or restocking shelves.
Administrative Volunteers greet participants, answer phones or calling participants who participate in the grocery delivery program.
Thrift Store Volunteers ensure that people have basic clothing needs. Volunteers organize donations and refresh the stores appearance and assist families at check-out.
Behind the Scenes Volunteers are vital to ACBC's mission by sorting produce, non-perishables, unloading donations, special projects and maintaining a clean environment. Volunteers in this role would lift up to 40 pounds.
Drivers keep ACBC's food shelf stocked with items and ensure home-bound individuals are able to receive food shelf items.
