Maya’s Hope is seeking detail-oriented, creative volunteers to help us make beautiful handmade thank-you cards that are sent directly to our donors. These cards are an important part of how we show gratitude to the people who make our work for children in extreme poverty possible.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys paper crafts, stationery, calligraphy, illustration, or thoughtful hand-made projects — and wants their creativity to have real impact.

What You’ll Do

• Create handmade thank-you cards following specific size and paper-quality guidelines
• Work from clear instructions we provide regarding:
  • Paper thickness (cardstock weight)
  • Card dimensions
  • Design parameters (what to include / avoid)
• Coordinate mailing or drop-off of finished cards (details provided)

Important Details

• We do have very specific requirements regarding paper thickness and size to ensure consistency and mailability
• Volunteers must be willing to follow exact instructions
• All materials are provided by the volunteer unless otherwise arranged

Ideal Volunteer

• Enjoys crafting, card-making, illustration, or calligraphy
• Is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable following guidelines
• Takes pride in creating warm, thoughtful, high-quality work
• Can commit to completing cards within agreed timelines
