We are looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable volunteer to lead a Financial Basics Education Class for single parents in our community.
This class will focus on practical, real-life money skills such as:
- Budgeting and money management
- Paying down debt
- Saving for emergencies
- Understanding credit
- Planning for the future with confidence
Details:
- Format: In-person or via Zoom (volunteer’s preference)
- Audience: Single parents
- Time commitment: one-time
- Experience: Background in finance, education, coaching, or lived experience strongly encouraged (formal certification not required)
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Patient, encouraging, and non-judgmental
- Able to explain financial concepts in clear, practical ways
- Passionate about empowering families with tools for stability and hope
