    Description

    Financial Basics Class Leader

    We are looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable volunteer to lead a Financial Basics Education Class for single parents in our community.

    This class will focus on practical, real-life money skills such as:

    • Budgeting and money management
    • Paying down debt
    • Saving for emergencies
    • Understanding credit
    • Planning for the future with confidence

    Details:

    • Format: In-person or via Zoom (volunteer’s preference)
    • Audience: Single parents
    • Time commitment: one-time
    • Experience: Background in finance, education, coaching, or lived experience strongly encouraged (formal certification not required)

    We’re looking for someone who is:

    • Patient, encouraging, and non-judgmental
    • Able to explain financial concepts in clear, practical ways
    • Passionate about empowering families with tools for stability and hope
