Square Web Site on-call expert needed for trouble-shooting

West Tuality Habitat for Humanity believes affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities and is a foundation for breaking the cycle of poverty. Our programs not only build homes, they build community.

Our Habitat affiliate is very small, serving a rural area of Oregon. Our marketing manger, who manages both the affiliate web site and the Forest Grove ReStore web site, works just part time. And sometimes, something is needed on the web site that is beyond her capabilities - or a problem arises and she needs help with trouble shooting.

We need an on-call volunteer, or more than one, that can help with these issues as they arise. It could be with helping to change the header menu on a page. It could be to create a page to sell something online. Tasks will usually take less than an hour to complete.

Volunteers need to have Zoom or Teams and be able to walk the Marketing manager through the task resolution.

We are happy to sign off on any paperwork if you undertake this role for a class or if you want to do this for assigned community service.

We already involve volunteers in most aspects of our house-building and home repairs (and you are welcomed to do that too!) - but we want the community involved and invested even more in what we do, and a way to do that is involving more volunteers. In addition, we want to keep as much of our finances as possible into those home-building and home repair activities, to support vulnerable families in Western Washington County, Oregon.
