📣 Volunteer Opportunity: Marketing Assistant for Social Impact Projects

Are you creative, strategic, and passionate about using your skills to make a difference? Join us as a Marketing Assistant and support the promotion and visibility of our impactful projects: Flora Circular, Ruwana, and HOOP Perú as an institution.

🌍 About the Role

As our Marketing Assistant, you’ll play a key role in crafting and executing strategies that increase awareness, attract volunteers, and engage the community. You’ll support communication efforts across several exciting and meaningful projects:

Flora Circular – A sustainable development project focused on environmental education, waste management, and circular economy practices.

Ruwana – A social entrepreneurship initiative that empowers local women through artisanal textile production and business development.

HOOP Perú – Our umbrella NGO dedicated to community transformation through education, family support, and sustainable initiatives.

💼 Responsibilities May Include:

• Creating engaging social media content (posts, videos, stories)
• Writing and editing newsletters, blog posts, and promotional material
• Designing basic visual content using tools like Canva
• Supporting the development of marketing campaigns
• Monitoring online engagement and suggesting improvements
• Helping update and maintain HOOP’s website
• Collaborating with other volunteers and staff to gather stories, testimonials, and media

🔍 What We’re Looking For:

• Interest or background in marketing, communication, social media, or design
• Creativity and strong writing skills (English and/or Spanish)
• Basic knowledge of tools like Canva, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, or similar (a plus!)
• Self-motivation and an ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Medium Spanish proficiency (recommended for community integration)

🕒 Time Commitment:

• We require a minimum commitment of 1 month (though we’d love for you to stay longer!)
