    Description

A Docent Training Opportunity at Tovrea Castle

If you're interested in Arizona history and have a flare for telling stories, join our dynamic team of Docents today! Tovrea Carraro Society Docents lead public tours and share the myth, mystery and history about Tovrea Castle at Carraro Heights, a City of Phoenix Point of Pride and an historic landmark.

Docents are currently scheduled for tours on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and/or Sundays. After certification, docents are expected to present at least 2 tours, each month, with a time commitment of 3 hours per tour.

Volunteer Docent training for Tovrea Carraro Society is a 6 to 9 month process and includes tram driver certification and mastering the tour script through practice tours to hone your skills. This is an intensive training program; trainees must be available for onsite trainings every two weeks until certified.
