Hospice Volunteer

Overview:

Are you compassionate, dependable, and looking to give back to your community in a meaningful way? Join our team as a Hospice Volunteer and offer comfort, companionship, and support to individuals and families facing end-of-life journeys.

Role Responsibilities May Include:

• Offering companionship through conversation, reading, or quiet presence
• Providing respite for family caregivers
• Assisting with errands or light household tasks (non-medical)
• Helping with office work or bereavement support (for administrative volunteers)
• Supporting patients in nursing homes, private homes, or inpatient hospice settings

What You Bring:

• A caring and empathetic heart
• Reliability and respect for confidentiality
• Comfort with end-of-life situations (training and ongoing support provided)
• Must be at least [age requirement, e.g., 18+]
• Background check and health screening (TB test, etc.) may be required
