    Description

Host a Meal with Your Group at the Downtown Women's Center

A home-cooked meal is one of the most basic needs in our Day Center.

In our Cooking Club, you will prepare a meal for 180 women and gender diverse individuals with 5-7 of your colleagues, friends, or family. You will provide sponsorship of $650 for the meal, and DWC will provide a kitchen leader, fresh ingredients, and step-by-step instructions. You will then get to serve the delicious meal you prepared! We also offer tours of the center if you cook during the week.

We ask that anyone who comes to the kitchen is over 18 years old and wears closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing.

    Availability:

We offer cooking clubs Wednesday – Sunday. Lunch shifts last from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, except for Thursdays, which run 8:30 am – 12:00 pm. Breakfast shifts run from 5:30 – 8:30 am.
