    Description

    Guardian Angels Cat Rescue & Adoption Shelter is 100% staffed by a volunteer force and unfortunately there never seem to be enough dependable, hardworking people to go around. The shelter's ideal would be to open more days for adoptions and Thrift Store sales, thus improving our adoption rate and the thrift store income.

    The shelter offers many different opportunities for adults 18 and older. The facility is operated 7 days a week, 365 days per year. Full training is provided and potential volunteers can be assured that we help people and animals.

    GACR's basic volunteer commitment is 2-4 hours per week although many volunteers commit much more based on our current needs.

    Instructions:

    Daily Cleaning typically begins no later than 7:30 AM and is usually concluded by 10:30 AM. This may fluctuate based on shelter capacity. It is not required for you to stay the entire time but the earlier you can arrive the better.

    Adoption Days are Tuesday and Saturday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

    The only evening job is medication administration.

    We prefer volunteers to come at least once a week for a regular shift.
