Treasurer – We Will Thru Sports

We Will Thru Sports is a nonprofit dedicated to providing free and low-cost basketball programs for kids from vulnerable backgrounds. For more than a decade, our founder and board have worked tirelessly to create a safe, supportive space for youth to grow through sports.

We are currently seeking a Treasurer (Volunteer) to join our board and help strengthen our financial management as we continue to grow.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the organization’s finances in partnership with the Board President
• Review budgets, financial reports, and help ensure compliance with nonprofit requirements
• Support grant reporting and fundraising efforts with accurate financial tracking
• Provide financial guidance to support long-term sustainability

Qualifications:

• Background in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping (CPA a plus but not required)
• Experience with nonprofit finances is helpful but not necessary
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to dedicate a few hours per month
• Passion for youth development and belief in the power of sports
