    Description

In the face of district budget cuts, we at William Penn Elementary School have chosen to prioritize our school funding to teacher and staff positions so that we can minimize budget cuts that impact classroom instruction. However, like all schools, we also need operational and materials supplies to function. We have developed a keen eye for donations - such as collecting sofas to form reading nooks in our library - and we are seeking a rapid response team who can help us by going to pick up and deliver donations to our school. The time commitment would be flexible and sporadic, we just need people on whom we can call to pick up various items from the donors and bring them to the school. Volunteers would need to have a vehicle suitable to transport the donated materials. Unfortunately, we can't provide any insurance, so the risk associated with moving any items would rest with the volunteers.
