    Description

    The BOC is the governance body for ACME. BOC members provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance. A public member is not a midwife and or does not derive any income from the practice of midwifery. This is not just your normal volunteer opportunity...This is an amazing volunteer opportunity that places dedicated, passionate professionals front and center in discussions and decision-making that lead to the best in midwifery education.

    Specifically, we are looking for someone who:

    • Demonstrates a commitment to the preparation of well-qualified health care providers
    • Possesses knowledge and skills complementary to the purpose of the BOC
    • Is familiar with the accreditation process
    • Has a commitment to attend meetings and conference calls as necessary
    • Is able to communicate electronically
    • Does not have a real or perceived conflict of interest related to the work of ACME
