    Description

Mentor a New Immigrant Job Seeker

Immigrants face many challenges when searching for a job in the United States, from the language barrier to a lack of professional connections and employer bias. The Professional Mentoring Program at the English-Speaking Union seeks to help new immigrant job seekers better understand the U.S. job search process and prepare them for success.

We are looking for volunteers to participate in our professional mentoring program. Each mentor in this program will be matched with an immigrant job seeker. They will work together to help prepare our mentees to navigate the U.S. job market and find economic success.

This is a twelve-week program that will run from September 15 - December 8. Mentors will be asked to make a commitment between 1 - 2 hours per week. The entire program will take place online.
