Position Summary
The Vice President of Membership is a senior volunteer leadership role responsible for overseeing all membership operations within AUSCF. This includes member engagement, benefit development, chapter support, and volunteer team leadership. The VP of Membership plays a key role in strengthening the value of AUSCF membership and ensuring a positive, professional, and rewarding experience for all members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all membership operations and serve as the primary point of contact for member relations.
- Develop and refine member benefits, programs, and services that support organizational goals.
- Build and manage processes for onboarding, retention, and member engagement.
- Oversee chapter operations, providing guidance, resources, and support to chapter leaders.
- Recruit, supervise, and mentor a team of volunteers focused on membership-related initiatives.
- Collaborate with organizational leadership to align membership strategy with broader mission objectives.
- Maintain accurate membership records and track metrics related to growth, retention, and engagement.
- Represent AUSCF in membership meetings, virtual events, and community outreach activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in membership management, community engagement, or nonprofit operations (volunteer or professional).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage teams, delegate tasks effectively, and oversee multiple ongoing initiatives.
- Experience with member management systems or CRM tools is a plus.
- Understanding of the cybersecurity community or nonprofit sector is helpful but not required.
