    Join Trailblazer Foundation and Help Bring Clean Water and Sustainable Solutions to Rural Communities

    Are you ready to make a meaningful impact while experiencing life in rural Cambodia? Trailblazer Foundation invites dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to volunteer with us on-site in Siem Reap, where we work directly with local communities to improve access to clean water, food security, education, and economic development.

    💪 What You’ll Do (Volunteer Responsibilities)

    Our volunteers assist with a variety of hands-on, high-impact activities. Depending on your interests and the season, you may be involved in:

    Bio-sand Water Filter Construction

    • Washing and sorting gravel and sand
    • Mixing cement
    • Dispensing cement into filter molds
    • Assisting with curing and finishing filters
    • Loading/unloading trucks with completed filters and materials
    • Delivering and installing filters in local villages (field visits)

    Note: A full-week commitment is required for water filter construction activities.

    Agricultural Support (Seasonal)

    • Assisting in our test gardens with planting, weeding, digging, and harvesting
    • Helping with composting and irrigation tasks

    Agricultural work is dependent on the season and current project needs.

    🕒 Work Schedule

    • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
    • Field delivery days may go until 3:00–4:00 PM
    • Volunteers are encouraged to bring water, snacks, and a box lunch, especially on field days

    ✅ Qualifications

    We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, but the ideal volunteer will have:

    • A strong work ethic and willingness to engage in physical labor
    • Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in hot and humid conditions
    • A collaborative, respectful, and culturally sensitive attitude
    • Enthusiasm for community development and hands-on service
    • Ability to follow safety protocols and work as part of a team

    Experience in construction, agriculture, or community work is helpful but not required. Training will be provided on-site.

    📌 Requirements

    • Minimum age: 18 years old (or accompanied by a guardian)
    • Commitment: Minimum one week
    • Bring a copy of your travel medical insurance (required for participation)
    • Must arrange your own accommodation, transportation, and meals
