    Description

    Mentor a High School Student

One email a week, one event a month, one more student excited about their post-secondary journey.

iMentor Chicago is dedicated to helping CPS high school students who aim to be the first in their families to attend college, guiding them on pathways that can lead to economic opprotunities for themselves and their families.

With iMentor’s curriculum—created and continuously refined over the past 25 years—and dedicated staff support, mentors and students work together, in person and online, to build strong relationships, explore post-secondary aspirations, navigate the steps toward college or other career pathways, and develop the skills needed for long-term success.

Mentors communicate weekly with their student using our online platform and attend one in-person group event each month. Through these activities, mentors will develop a supportive mentoring relationship that will last for 2 years and guide a mentee through iMentor’s post secondary readiness curriculum and college application process with support of iMentor staff.
