    Volunteers commit approximately 10 hours per month with flexible scheduling. This is an ongoing opportunity with a recommended minimum commitment of 3 months. Most activities are remote with occasional virtual meetings.

    About Dream BIG Community Resource Center

    Dream BIG Community Resource Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing case management, housing navigation, community outreach, and essential resources to low- to moderate-income individuals and families across Wake, Durham, and Guilford Counties. We operate with a low-barrier, community-centered approach and work closely with local partners to support individuals in crisis.

    Volunteer Opportunity Overview

    We are seeking motivated and compassionate volunteers to serve on one of our nonprofit committees. These roles are ideal for individuals looking to gain nonprofit experience, give back to their community, and support meaningful work that creates real impact.

    All committee positions are ongoing, flexible, and remote-friendly, with occasional community engagement opportunities.

    Available Committees

    Volunteer & Operations Committee

    Support internal operations, volunteer coordination, scheduling, and organizational processes.

    Marketing & Public Relations Committee

    Assist with social media content, outreach campaigns, branding, and community awareness efforts.

    Programs & Community Engagement Committee

    Support program planning, outreach events, community partnerships, and engagement initiatives.

    Grants & Fundraising Committee

    Assist with grant research, fundraising activities, sponsorship outreach, and donor engagement.

    Time Commitment

    Approximately 10+ hours per month, no more than 20

    Qualifications

    • Passion for community service and social impact
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Students, professionals, and retirees are welcome
    • Prior experience is helpful but not required
