Looking for a fun, easy and hands-on way to give back? Support M Health Fairview in spreading warmth and comfort by creating cozy fleece tie blankets for patients in need. These handmade blankets are more than just fabric — they're heartfelt gifts that provide comfort, care and a sense of home during challenging times.
Finished blankets will be donated to the Resource Center & Library at the University of Minnesota Medical Center – East Bank, where patients can pick one up and feel the support of their community.
Here’s how to help:
🎁 Donate Supplies – Volunteers purchase and provide their own fleece.
🧶 Make a Blanket – Blankets should be adult-sized (approximately 62" x 72"), assembled before donating and washed prior to drop-off.
🕒 Flexible Commitment – This project can be completed entirely on your own time, at your own pace, whenever it works for you.
📅 Schedule Drop-Off – Please contact us to arrange a weekday drop-off at the East Bank hospital between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
❤️ Share the Love – Every blanket you make is a simple act of kindness that goes a long way.
Grab some fleece, tie it up with love, and bring comfort to someone who truly needs it.
Start your blanket project today — and make a difference, one tie at a time!
