    Description

By becoming a foster guardian, you can help us at Lily's Legacy rescue more dogs! At Lily's Legacy, we receive many more requests to accept abandoned or displaced dogs than we have space available. We therefore always need volunteers to foster dogs for an indefinite period of time until those dogs are adopted. In addition, foster homes are often needed on a more short-term basis, while dogs are undergoing medical treatment, or until room for them becomes available at our sanctuary.

Foster guardians provide dogs with food, appropriate exercise, and plenty of love. Medical care is arranged and paid for by Lily's Legacy. In some instances, a volunteer foster may be asked to transport their foster dog(s) to scheduled medical appointments or adoption events. We ask that fosters live in the Northern California Bay Area and commit to an agreed foster period.
