Veteran to Veteran Volunteers wanted

We are gaining our Stars from the VA, have 2 Stars and working on #3. Our company is committed to getting companionship to those terminally ill patients that have served our country. As Veterans know, you don't talk about your service to the general public. There are things that you have seen, done, and witnessed that you hold inside. Our Veterans are just the same. Some do not want a volunteer at all because they don't have anything to talk about, or they do not connect on the same level.

Veterans are amazing, the stories they have to share, the support they can offer to their fellow soldiers. We want to provide volunteers to talk to our Veteran patients, that will make them feel comfortable, and have someone they can tell about their experiences. They want that person they can identify with. If this is an opportunity that you would be able to fill, we want to provide a patient for you to visit. We try to keep visits to once or twice a week, and at their facility, we try to match a patient close to your home, if possible.
