    Grant Finder & Funding Research Volunteer (98 Octane – Veteran & First Responder Health Nonprofit)

    98 Octane is a nonprofit committed to helping Military Veterans and First Responders live longer stronger lives through free health education metabolic training and community programs. We are looking for a volunteer who can help us find new funding opportunities so we can reach more people and expand our mission.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research and identify grant opportunities from foundations corporations and government programs
    • Create and maintain a simple organized grant pipeline with deadlines and requirements
    • Review each opportunity and summarize how well it fits our mission
    • Provide short clear write ups for our leadership team
    • Support basic drafting of letters of intent or application sections if interested

    Qualifications

    • Strong online research skills
    • Organized and detail oriented
    • Clear communicator who can summarize information
    • Interest in helping the Military Veteran and First Responder community
    • Grant experience is helpful but not required We will train the right person

    Time Commitment

    Flexible Two to four hours per week Remote
