Do you like working behind the scenes? Are you really into data capturing and information processing projects? Then this opportunity to help transcribe and log survey responses for the Talking Book and Braille Library is an excellent fit for you!
We’re looking for someone to help us digitize print responses to the Talking Book and Braille Library’s annual Customer Satisfaction Survey. Roughly 1,000 print responses are usually received, many of them containing hand-written comments that need to be captured electronically. Organization, attention to detail, and an eye for deciphering handwriting is the name of the game. This survey information is vital. It gives the Library insights into how best to serve Oregonians with print disabilities.
No prior experience is required, training will be provided virtually, and work will be done remotely. Surveys will be provided in weekly batches from the first week of April through the first week of May. You will get the satisfaction of seeing this project through to completion while gaining experience and building connections to the library community. Consider joining our Talking Book and Braille Library team, because reading is for everyone!
